Hot chocolate is the the first thing my boys ask for when temperatures start to fall. Marshmallows are the most requested topping, but whipped cream is a close second.
My mom ALWAYS makes home made whipped cream and I’m happy to carry on that tradition. It’s simple to make, and tastes so much better than anything you can buy in the store. And, it’s the perfect project for the little chefs in your kitchen.
It’s as easy as pouring heavy cream into a bowl, sprinkling in some confectioners sugar, and pulling out your hand held beater. Whip it for a minute or two and it’s ready to go.
And of course, don’t forget the sprinkles.
